2006 NEWS

TEAM BLUEWATER has done very well AGAIN this year at Canada Wide in Chicoutimi, Quebec.
The region can once again be very proud of the team that has been at Chicoutimi all week, both on and off the judging floor.
Per capita, we probably won more awards than any other region.

Here are the highlights from the awards ceremony.

Megan Schlorff, Holy Family School, Hanover Jr. Gold, Physical Sciences - $1500.00 cash plus $2000. entry scholarship to Western University

Clark Wilkinson, Sacred Heart, Mildmay, Jr. Silver, Health Sciences - $700.00 cash plus $1500. entry scholarship to Western University
Actuary Foundation Award - $500.00
Canadian Statistical Society Award - $400.00

Riley O'Hagan, Brant Central, Walkerton, Jr. Silver, Automotive Sciences - $700.00 cash plus $1500. entry scholarship to Western University

Mark Shearer, Bruce Pennisula District School, Lion's Head, Sr. Silver, Life Sciences - $700.00 cash plus $1500. entry scholarship to Western University

Wade Walker, MacPhail Memorial, Markdale, Petro Canada Award Peer Innovation Award - $300.00

Other team members included Claire Lafortune and Jessica Hellyer, both of whom received excellent judging reports at the fair.

Over all, $6700.00 in monetary awards as well!!
